  • St. Joe Valley Agility Club, Inc. (SJVAC) was formed in 1998 to further area interest in competitive agility. Namely, to promote the competition and camaraderie of agility and to offer our members the opportunity to compete close to home.
  • Over the years our members have participated at all levels of agility and have been awarded some of agility's highest titles.
  • We were approved to be an American Kennel Club (AKC) agility club in 1999 and held our first competition agility trial in the fall of 1999. In 2003 we became a licensed AKC Obedience Club.

SJVAC objectives are to:

  1. Further the advancement of all purebred breeds.
  2. Do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of agility trials and to encourage sportsmanlike conduct at such events.
  3. Conduct agility trials under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club (AKC).
  4. Promote the training of and to disseminate knowledge in the training of purebred dogs.
